Job Description

An established client of ours is looking to recruit a Payrollerfor the EMEA region, and to assist in the processing of the organisations EMEA payroll in a timely and accurate manner.You will be responsible for creating & maintaining employees payroll records. Calculations & applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records. Entering payroll information into central system for processing. Issues employees checksand earnings summaries. Completes payroll Journals, salary payments & assist with internal auditing processes.Key Responsibilities: Manage your own portfolio of complex payroll across EMEA, processing payroll using our current system and liaising with other external providers Check the accuracy of payroll data and payments delivered by our outsourced payroll provider Address and respond to queries, supporting colleagues understand their pay and benefits Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies within payroll paying close attention to under and over payments. Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law Liaise with HMRC when required, processing tax code changes Ensuring monthly payroll journals are completed accurately and in a timely manner.Experience required: Experience with EMEA Payroll processing and integration or previous international payroll experience or 5 yrs UK Payroll experience Hands on experience and application of payroll processes, tax procedures, benefits, and other wage deductions. Experience of working with external authorities such as HMRC to ensure compliance at all times. Experience in calculating SSP, SMP, SAP Experience in P11ds, P60s, P45s and audits. Experience in calculating bonus and commission payments. Experience with Pensions and Auto enrolment. Experience with the completion of payroll journals.Key skills required International payroll experience is an advantage otherwise will consider 45 yrs UK payroll Intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good organisational skills. Working to deadlines. Proactive, tenacious and accountable. Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writingCIPP Qualification is desirable or studying towards this.Seeking immediately available candidates or short notice as this is a 12 month contractHybrid working - 3 days office based and 2 days remote ( initial 2 weeks in the office) - ideally need to be a driver.
