Job Description

We are currently recruiting for aPowder Coater/ Painter to work AM/PM ROTATING shifts tojoin a well-established Steel Fabrication company based in Sandbach. Offering great benefits such as a Golden Hello of £1,000 in your first year for new starters plus many more!ThisPowder Coater/ Painter role ispermanentworking the following shifts:Monday - Thursday 6am2pm (06001400) AND Friday 6am12pm (06001200)Pay Rate: £10.91 to £13.50 per hour(dependent upon skills and experience)MondayThursday 2pm10pm (14002200) AND Friday 12pm6pm (12001800)Pay Rate: £12.13 to £15.00 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)As a Powder Coater/ Painter you will be working in a team reporting to the Fabrication Team Leader with the following responsibilities:

Applying the powder coat and paint to steel structures
Set up the flow of powder from guns to achieve the required thickness of paint
Visual inspections of coated parts
Ensure clean down of all equipment and that there is no colour contamination ready for the next process

We are keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

At least 3 years worth of experience as a Powder Coater/ Painter
Previous mechanical and/ or automotive manufacturing
Good understanding of engineering drawings
