We are currently recruiting for aMIG Welder to work AM OR PM Shifts tojoin a well-established Steel Fabrication company based in Sandbach. Offering great benefits such as a Golden Hello of £1,000 in your first yearfor new starters plus many more!ThisMIG Welder role ispermanentworking the following shifts:Monday - Thursday 6am2pm (06001400) AND Friday 6am12pm (06001200) Pay Rate £11.81 to £16.88 per hourper hour (dependent upon skills and experience)ORMondayThursday 2pm10pm (14002200) AND Friday12pm6pm (12001800)Pay Rate: £13.13 to £18.75 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)As a MIG Welder you will be working in a team of 16 reporting to the Welding Team Leader with the following responsibilities:

• Evaluate and interpret drawings to be used in the preparation of the product to be manufactured
• Carrying out inspections prior to welding
• Highlight and communicate any minor faults which may arise which may cause delay to production
• Ensure work is carried out to exact tolerances
• MIG welding on Steel to a high standard
• Manufacture of fabricating and welding steel frames, structures, and sheet metal fabrications

We are keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

• At least 3 years worth of experience as a MIG Welder
• Must have previous experience of MIG welding Steel
• Relevant qualifications or training in Sheet Metal Fabrication / Welding
• The ability to read engineering drawings and use dimensional measuring equipment to measure fabricated parts.

• TIG welding experience desirable but not essential
