A permanent job opening has arisen for a Warehouse Team Leader to work in one of the UKs leading private healthcare organisations to supervise the team that aims to deliver Rapid Response Laboratory and Core Laboratory facilities. There will be OperationalManagement of Consolidation Warehouse and Centralised GP Services including Laboratory Services Supplies Distribution team. Ensuring stock levels are kept at appropriate levels for service, and to unpack and store all deliveries to the facility. Reducing facilitydowntime, you will contribute to a robustness of service that will ultimately improve patient pathways.This role based in Kings Cross, Central London.Duties for this role include:Stock and Procurement: Manage a team of Warehouse Operatives and Supplies Distribution TeamsAgreeing minimum and maximum stock levels required by the Group.Determining preferred maximum stock levels at the storage locations which could include labs, chilled storage and warehouse facilities.Publishing min and max stock level requirements to ensure that users of the facility can easily identify when stock is close to or below agreed threshold.Place regular orders using Elabs or manual requisitions for required stock/ equipment.Monitoring stock levels against agreed minimum stock levels to ensure that sufficient stock is on hand at all times.Physically counting and checking stock delivered against delivery notes, putting away stock in the required shelving and refrigeration space. Flagging and troubleshooting any discrepancies and escalating to Laboratory services manager where necessaryAgreeing call-off stock requirements with the laboratory so as to ensure that the agreed minimum stock levels are maintained.Working with stock controllers to determine and set up the standing order stock requirements for the Laboratories, etc. so as to ensure that the agreed minimum and maximum stock levels can be maintained.Perform monthly overall stocktake as requiredWaste management Regularly assess usage and deliveries of unused clinical waste containers for stock levels.Escalate any waste contractor issues to local managementDocument Management: Prepare archiving boxes and registers for archiving of appropriate clinical documentation and or material for the external archiving company.Ensure archiving is completed in adherence with regularity and audit requirements.To be considered for this role you must possess:
