Job Description

This highly successful organisation is looking to recruit a dedicated individual to join as a Delivery Driver at their Warehouse in Elstree.Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be supplied with a tail lift van and a fuel card and be responsible for stock deliveries to sites.Responsibilities

  • Picking up supplies and loading onto the van.
  • Driving the van to multiple locations around London.
  • Offloading deliveries from cages
    • Essential requirements for this role
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Applicant must hold a full and valid UK drivers license
  • Have a good knowledge of the local area (London).
  • Be self -motivated, enthusiastic, punctual and of a smart appearance.
  • Excellent physical fitness. You will be required to lift heavy items so an ability to handle these safely within the requirements of our Health and safety guidelines is a must.
    • You should have excellent attention to detail as you will need to check over each vehicle to ensure your safety when driving, as well as identifying any blemishes or damage on the vehicle. Organisation skills are paramount in this role, as you will be responsible for planning multiple drops with efficiency in mind at all times.This is a permanent role paying £23,000 - £24,000 + 23 days holiday + pension and the working hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
