Job Description

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Showroom Assistant Manager.We are looking for a motivated, sales orientated, customer focussed individual to manage a small team. Our client has a lovely Tile and Bathroom showroom, open to the public and trade, they require someone to:

  • Lead by example and possess strong leadership skills.
  • High level of customer focus providing excellent class service
  • Order and payment processing
  • General stock control including lifting and handling stock.
  • Ensure the showroom is always kept to an exceptional standard, and products are well displayed.
  • Ability to motivate staff and keep them focussed on customers and daily duties.
  • Organise staff rota’s, manage holiday, sickness absence etc…
  • Creation and maintenance of a loyal customer base and generating new and repeat business.
  • Ensure the team take every opportunity to sell and upsell products.
Skills and experience required:
  • Previous experience of managing a small team in a similar environment
  • Experience working in Tiles or Bathrooms is essential.
  • Friendly, professional, confident, and reliable
  • Motivated and sales forward.
  • Comfortable with some lifting and moving stock (nothing too taxing)
  • Able to work 5 days a week Mon - Sat, work every Saturday with day in lieu during the week
