Sayjo recruitment are acting on behalf of our client a ceramic tile distributor to recruit a Field Merchandiser that has energy, determination with a strong attitude towards getting things done’ and a very keen eye for detail. Visiting their customers retail outlets UK wide ensuring they are merchandised to the highest possible standards.The role is based in Elland but will involve a huge amount of traveling around the UK. If you love to get out and about and visit customers this position is for you.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, fast growing family business.Specific Responsibilities· Be responsible for delivering sample boards into tile retailers and you will assist another member of staff with setting up, creating effective store showroom displays which could include tiling, grouting, and using adhesives.· Be confident, have a smart appearance with the ability to develop good customer relationships.· Be prepared to get involved with the process from start to finish - building sample boards, to delivering to customers, re-sellers, and showrooms etc.· Work as part of a wider team sharing ideas and good practice with our sales teams to drive business success.· Have a "can-do approach" managing relationships and expectations to build a strong rapport with customers.· Enjoy being out on the road and working independently and part of a team, also being prepared to stay away from home when required, accommodation and meal expenses will be covered.· Put the customers’ needs at the centre of everything you do.· Enjoy the physical elements of this role.· Previous merchandising experience of some form is desired but not essential.· Must hold a full UK driving licence.Hours - Monday to Friday, if working in the warehouse in Elland your hours would be based on 7.30 am - 4.30 pm but some flexibility needed when you are on the road.
