Roles & Responsibilities:

Loading and off-loading of materials in a safe and efficient manner using correct company procedures/ policies.

Loading working platforms for various trades - bricklayers, joiners, roofers, etc, using correct company procedures. (There are also many occasions where a certain amount of manual handling will be required).

Storage of materials on site maintaining a safe and tidy compound.

Completing and recording daily plant check sheets and submitting to site manager for filing.

Maintaining machine is in good working order and all faults are reported straight away.

Overseeing delivery/collection of plant and checking/ signing for damage at both on hire and off hire stages.

Manage and maintain the use of waste segregation to skips on site reducing waste to landfill.

Save costs through use of materials and equipment, making full use of them before discarding and keep waste to a minimum.

Observe and adhere to all Health and Safety rules.

Always maintain a professional manner.

CPCS/NPORS Telehandler

Banksman Training

H&S Touch Screen

CSCS Card

NVQ - Trade Related

Manual Handling

Asbestos Awareness

Fire Training

Key Performance Indicators -how to prove that you are doing your job properly (Outputs/Indicators)

Appearance - company workwear, clean, tidy and being worn

Tools - relevant test certification

Quality - defect free

Van - clean and tidy

Phone (if applicable) - clean and in good working order

Health and Safety - knowledge of company policies and work to agreed risk and method statements
