Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in agriculture and rural sectors.Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Agriculture. based at SRUCs Oatridge Campus in West Lothian as part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Engineering Science Department within the Central Faculty of SRUC. The successful candidatewill be required to deliver teaching and practical classes to students as directed by the Agriculture Programme Team leader at Oatridge.In this role you will prepare and deliver programmes of education, training and assessment, including a wide range of practical skills to a high standard as well as classroom teaching to appropriate academic standards deliver and assess modules.You should have a HND, degree or research equivalent qualification in agriculture, rural business and land subjects (or a related subject). Experience of teaching in a further or higher education setting is desirable as is a teaching qualification.You should be a team player with well-developed communication and networking skills and possess an ability to work in partnership with outside organisations.
