Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in agriculture and rural sectors.A vacancy has arisen within the Scottish National Equestrian Centre based at SRUC’s Oatridge Campus, West Lothian for an experienced Groundsperson to assist the team in ensuring the successful co-ordination and running of equine events taking place at the centre.Duties are varied and include the maintenance of the two riding arenas and grounds of the centre, assisting with the management of events - including the physical preparation of the arena and running of events. This role will involve some evening and weekend work.This role would suit someone with a genuine interest in and experience of being actively involved in the physical running of equine events and activities. You should also be an excellent communicator and extremely well organised. A current full, clean driving licence is required for this role as some driving work is essential.This is a casual / variable hours contract and the successful candidate must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.Please note this appointment will initially be on a fixed term basis for 6 months.
