We are recruiting for a Scaffold and Barrier Engineer to cover the Manchester area.This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday paying circa £28k - £32.5kpa and paid door to door.The role is mobile so a vehicle will be provided (no personal use), and some working away will be required (Premier Inn Card provided). Monthly bonus package issued on company billing.Extensive training package also available.Job SpecThis role will involve performing installation & planned preventative maintenance, recertification, remedial repair works to the existing and new client base on all safety access points, fall protection systems, barriers and fencing, walk ways, ladders and safe access barriers/systems.Technicians from scaffolding sector and working at heights are welcome to apply.Job dutiesCarry out installation works on the fall protection and safe access solutions.Carry out planned preventative maintenance, recertification, remedial repair works on the existing and new service client sites.Ensure all works are completed in accordance with the environmental, health, safety, and quality policies.Complete site installation works in accordance with installation design drawings ensuring that installation works are compliant with current codes of practice and relevant legislation.Complete on site the planned preventative maintenance, recertification works to ensure all systems are compliant with current codes of practice and relevant legislation.Complete site inspection and audit reports, clearly identifying non-compliant installations and provide accurate details to facilitate client reports.Complete all site visits in accordance with planned schedules.Always represent the company in a professional manner and build excellent client relationships.Always ensure excellent communication with the clients and clearly demonstrate your knowledge in delivering a quality of service.This role will involve additional training on the group company products and services.This role will require frequent travel throughout the UK.Skills ProfileFull UK driving license CSCS Previous experience of barrier access and roof safety systems.What to Do:- If you are interested then please click the APPLY button now PRS are a leading specialist recruitment and search & selection consultancy within the Building Services, FM and Support Sectors.
