Job Description

Finance ManagerNottingham£35,000 to £40,000My client is recruiting for an experienced Finance manager to support and deliver profitable and sustainable growth for the business. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of commercial and financial information, to enable our decision making.Key responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for review by Board of Directors.
  • Work as part of the Senior Management Team to support business development, efficiency and robust governance.
  • Alongside our audit partners, support the production of annual accounts, self-assessment statements and P11d’s.
  • Prepare weekly reports including cash-flow, income and debtor statements.
  • Support and lead where appropriate financial system development.
  • Support the production of annual budgets and medium term company financial plan.
  • Produce monthly control accounts reconciliations inc bank, payroll and fixed assets.
  • Oversee the sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Process weekly supplier payment runs using bank software.
  • Support the credit control function including liaison with legal representatives for bad debts.
  • Support in bids and tenders when required.
  • Assess credit applications from potential clients.
Requirments:
  • Strong technical and management accounting knowledge including VAT and payroll
  • Working knowledge of Xero
  • Attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
