Job Description

Service Manager£30,000BromboroughOur client, who is an industry-leading manufacturer, is looking for a Service Manager to join their fun and friendly team.Within this role, you will work in a fast-paced vibrant office environment and will be responsible for managing the team.Duties will include:

  • Customer liaison role is perfect for a passionate, customer focussed individual who is driven by high customer satisfaction levels
  • In this role you will be required to provide support to coordination staff including holiday/ absence cover
  • You will manage the department KPIs & job timescales
  • You will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager and in her absence, you will be responsible for supervision of the office staff.
  • You will organise Project Managers calendar - providing support when required
  • You will need to develop an ongoing relationship with company Account Managers providing a point of contact for any department queries etc.
  • This role involves dealing with invoice queries on any problem jobs
  • It is your responsibility to maximise customer value and minimise warranty visits
  • You will be the escalation point and resolution of customer complaints
  • You will be expected to encourage and develop a can-do team environment, leading by example and demonstrating passion, flexibility, and determination within the role
  • You may be required to undertake any other duties that reasonable fall within the scope of the role

Requirements:
  • Several years experience within a service/ maintenance type role with prior, demonstrated success
  • Solid business acumen and excellent commercial awareness
  • Previous customer service experience is essential
  • Experience working within a dynamic, fast paced, working environment
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a senior role, supervising/ managing other members of staff
  • A confident individual who is comfortable making decisions
  • Have a financial awareness relating to number of visits to site, parts purchasing and shipment dates
  • Excellent phone manner, and previous experience speaking to customers over the phone
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-organisation skills and organisation of others
  • Driven individual who is up for a challenge
