Software Engineer: Glasgow: MusicOur client is a world leader in Music Systems and is looking for an innovative, motivated Software Engineer to join the team responsible for their streaming platform. This is a full time role based in the office on the outskirts of Glasgow.You would be working with a group of engineers who develop and maintain all the code used on their Digital Streamer range. This ranges from kernel configuration and device drivers to network protocols (HTTP, UPnP, many others), to audio pipeline, to on-board UI.Our client also integrates a number of third party libraries, from kernel to security and codecs. As well as consuming open source libraries, they open much of our code.The vast majority of work is in C++, with C used to interface with third party libraries and hardware. This role will initially be focused on linux kernel but there is scope to evolve the role to suit the right candidate.Skills and Requirements:
