Linux Kernel Engineer: Glasgow: Consumer Electronics Our client is a world leader in Audio. They are looking for an innovative, motivated Linux Kernel Engineer to join the team responsible for their streaming platform.You would be working with a group of engineers who develop and maintain all the code used on our DS (Digital Streamer) range. This ranges from kernel configuration and device drivers to network protocols (HTTP, UPnP, many others), to audio pipeline, to on-board UI.The vast majority of work is in C++, with C used to interface with third party libraries and hardware. This role will initially be focused on linux kernel but there is scope to evolve the role to suit the right candidate. Skills and Requirements:
