Job Description

Communications ExecutiveLinn designs and makes the world’s best music systems. We know that music makes life better, and we’re looking for a Communications Executive who knows it too.We are excited to be adding to our team and are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Communications Executive to join our growing marketing team. The successful candidate will understand that great communication goes further than just words on a page. You will take complex problems and products, and form these into clear and understandable communication solutions that inspire our customers.You will work alongside marketing colleagues to create inspirational content tailored to each of our end user and B2B customers’ needs and delivered using online platforms. By translating products, features and benefits into customer-centric content, your work will be used across a variety of marketing touchpoints.The role involves:

Applying Messaging Framework: Interpret and deliver brand copy in line with our agreed master messaging and Tone of Voice guidelines, tailored for both B2B briefing and consumers.

Trade Communication: Develop and implement a communications framework for each message and delivery format within our network of B2B customers, including building MailChimp emails, producing briefing documents and supporting product launches and promotions, ensuring consistency, and analysing and reporting results with a view to continuous improvement.

Web Copy & Blogging: In collaboration with marketing colleagues, develop and deliver copy that’s optimised for SEO; including keyword research and best practice for responsive platforms.

Ability to work alongside the wider business to create scripts for presentations, webinars and video content.

Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.

Social media management: Bringing our social media channels to life with inspiring storytelling

The ideal candidate will have:

a passion for the written word and the desire to improve every copy job

excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders

experience with writing for both B2B and B2C audiences

comfortable working with technical tools such as email marketing software, social media channels and management dashboards, etc. Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign experience a plus

knowledge of SEO, including keyword research and online copywriting

strong attention to detail and accuracy

effective time management with the ability to multi-task on a number of projects at once; from brief to delivery

a minimum of 2 years’ related experience in a similar communications / marketing role

a passion for music
