Job Description

Our client is a successful IFA firm based in Wakefield. They are committed to giving a bespoke, personal service tailored to the specific needs of each individual client. They now require an experienced Administrator with a strong Financial Services backgroundto assist with Administration and also to do some Paraplanning work.Duties as follows:Administration Duties

  • Scanning all correspondence and saving to client files
  • Printing and sending out valuation reports to all clients on a half yearly basis or as and when required
  • Sending out letters on a monthly basis requesting clients contact us to arrange an appointment for an annual review.
  • Creating review packs ready for when a client is seen by the adviser - valuations, investor reports and how much money a client has made over the past 12 months
  • Opening and dealing with all incoming/outgoing post accordingly.
  • Typing letters for clients
  • Creating new packs for advisers when they see either a new or existing client
  • Using the franking machine i.e. franking the external mail or topping up the credit balance
  • Keeping back office system up to date with all client information
  • Arranging appointments with either Clients or Company Representatives and updating advisers diaries.
Paraplanning Duties;
  • Produce research for the IFA on the required product using relevant research tools
  • Prepare product analysis from ceding information, or information provided by IFA
  • Input Attitude to Risk analysis on Dynamic Planner
  • Ensure client records are up to date on back office systems
  • Assimilate and segregate information gathered by the IFA from the Fact Find
  • Liaise with Advisers as appropriate to fill any information "gaps"
  • Obtain illustrations, application documents and all paperwork required for sign up.
  • Assist with business submissions
  • Prepare a compliant & robust Suitability Report
  • Maintain quality of documentation by paying attention to detail.
  • Work with colleagues to maintain up-to-date knowledge and share best practices.
