My client, a highly successful car specialist, based in Teesside, is looking to grow their team by employing an experienced Master Technician due to continued demand in an extremely busy workshop.The role involves hands on mechanical repair, inspection, diagnostics, working both as a team and as an individual in a busy customer facing environment, requiring mental and physically aptitude. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have high concentration levels, with good attention to detail.The successful candidate will be NVQ 3 trained, as a minimum be apprentice trained to NVQ 3 level NOT a purely theory based qualification. Must also have confidence and extensive knowledge of diagnostic procedures, be time served for 5 years and have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 5 years.Candidates are required to be presentable, polite and good mannered, have appropriate communication skills for both customer interaction and workshop manner. Must be self-motivated, driven for job satisfaction, trusted and honest to work on high value cars, handle cash, have leadership skills, able to take charge of jobs, own a comprehensive tool kit and be able to be self-sufficient on tooling with mechanical repairs and be able to work at an industry acceptable pace to book timed jobs. It would also be a plus if candidates held F Gas certificate, held a clean driving licence, be VAG and/or BMW dealer trained. Hours Of Work8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday, plus overtime.Salary£30 - 32 000, dependant on experience and qualifications.
