Job Description

Ecommerce Analyst Greater Manchester£23,000 - £28,000Due to continued growth, my client a well-established home improvements company supplying a variety of retailers and wholesalers now has an excellent opportunity for an Ecommerce Analyst to join their team in Greater Manchester.The primary roles are to:Increase sales to and through Amazon using and implementing data-driven analysis and insights.Optimise product supply chain through analysis of EPOS, Amazon forecast and the companies own forecast.Responsibilities

  • Use plug-in software packages to enhance the performance of the Decorative and PPE product ranges via:
    • Search optimisation of existing products to achieve page 1 ranking for the most popular keyword searches, including proposed content for new listings and amends to existing ones.
    • Identification of product listing weaknesses other than keywords that negatively impact on listing health ratings.
    • Insight-driven product development through analysis of product sectors, competitor products and the associated price points to identify opportunities for the business.
    • Evaluating software capabilities to identify any further opportunities to add value.
  • Use Amazon Vendor Central to access reporting information and submit listing amends.
  • Use Amazon’s EPOS and forecast alongside the businesses own forecast to ensure that stock levels/orders are matched appropriately
  • Understand Amazon’s product categorisation structure and identify, recommend and implement adjustments to improve product discoverability.
  • Identify, propose and manage AMS marketing campaign opportunities.
  • Develop metrics to track progress, including page views, conversion rate and direct sales to Amazon.
  • Identify market sectors outside of Decorative and PPE which are poorly represented on Amazon and work with the business sourcing and marketing teams to capitalise on opportunities.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing & Amazon Account Manager to develop Amazon EU & Amazon US business units
