REED Talent Solutions is currently recruiting for a senior homelessness support worker, based in Doncaster town centre. The pay rate for this role is £11.24 per hour. This is a full-time role37 hours per week and will involve weekend work. This role isinitially for 6 weeks with the scope to be extended or to be offered shift work after the role has ended.This service provides accommodation, food and advocacy for single homeless people, The role includes assisting service users with this and issues such as, substance use, mental and physical health, and life skills. You will also be responsible for a caseloadof clients and risk assessing and support planning with the clients. You are essentially their first step into supported accommodation and the next stage in their lives. You must have had previous experience in case holding, support planning and risk assessing.Our client provides accommodation and support for single homeless people and involves working with vulnerable adults and supporting homeless people with complex needs. This can be a challenging yet rewarding role for the right person.Please note - the successful applicant will need to complete a competency-based registration interview with REED Sheffield before being placed out to work.
