Summary This is an exciting time to join Hardwick and Stainsby as we develop our visitor experience, engagement and connections to our fantastic historic hall, collection, garden, mill and wider estate. Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionateteam this role plays a core part in providing fantastic exceptional service and growing support. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. For example: 0.35 FTE, a typical week could be 2-3 days a week, working 4.5-6 hours adayPlease note that this role will require working regular weekends. What youll be doing Visitors are a vital part of what we do. As a charity every penny we raise goes back into our continued conservation of our places and spaces. Every day is different. Youll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent serviceto all our visitors, every day. As a Welcome & Service Assistant, its your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is exceptional, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day.Youll be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place youll work with the visitor welcome team to linkeverything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. Youll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent, from the first click on the website, to the postersand signs around the property.
