Spencer Clarke Group are working alongside Newham Council to appoint a talented Senior Business Analyst on a Contract basis.As a Senior Business Analyst youll play a vital role in facilitating the delivery of the oneSources strategic objectives and priorities.The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, driven and determined to make a difference!If that sounds like you, wed love to hear from you!About the roleBased in Haringey, you will be tasked with:

  • Creating, delivering and implementing business improvement and analysis projects within both oneSource and with the Partner Councils that enable services to become more efficient and effective, applying appropriate business improvement skillsets (suchas LEAN, Agile, Systems Thinking and other similar methodology and techniques).
  • Working in collaboration with the Business Improvement and Analysis Manager and other officers (including those from outside the team), and with diverse services and programmes from across oneSource and the Partner Councils to deliver a coherent, evidence-basedimprovement and efficiencies programme.
  • Providing accurate advice, training, mentoring and support on business improvement and business optimisation techniques to officers in oneSource and the Partner Councils.
  • Promoting a dynamic, collaborative approach to the development and implementation of business improvement projects and programme and project management in order to deliver on organisational priorities
About youThe ideal candidate for this position will:
  • Have A good understanding of the techniques associated with continuous improvement such as Lean, Root Cause Analysis, Kanban, Agile, Change management.
  • Good knowledge of project and programme management techniques, Prince2 and or MSP.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of the principles of programme and project management and their application to business improvement and analysis projects.
Experience is also preferable in:
  • Fully competence in the use of standard Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, project manager, including Verto system.
  • Working in a local authority or similar public sector organisation.

  • Overtime: options available for overtime
  • Contract type: 3 month contract with view to extend
  • Hours: 9-5:30 Monday to Friday
