Prospero Teaching are currently looking for an experienced sports coach/ sports leader to join an experienced and supportive teaching team for a primary school based in Canning Town (E16). The roles starts after the half term break, but the school wouldlove to trial/interview candidates ASAP.The school is a happy and caring school which is well supported by a very strong community of parents, families, Governing Body and local residents. The children are polite, bright and engaging as a result of their family friendly ethos.The role:Sports Coach/ Sport Lead Starting after half term / Full time role 5 days a week, (36 hours per week) full school year The role has potential to go full time on school contractThe support of an experience PE LeadResponsibilities: Running football/ sports clubs before and after schoolDeveloping language and play in EYFS settingManaging the provision of play at all playtimesTaking classes for sport covering teachers for PPATo be eligible for the role you must:Have excellent behaviour management strategies and skills to engage pupils Experience in coaching pupils in sportHave good knowledge of the PE national curriculum and skills in teaching a variety of sportsHave coached or taught PE in primary or secondary schoolsThe school:Well-equipped and resourced playground / sports areas2 Form entryPrimary school based in Canning townWalking distance from Station / Parking at school
