Job Description

Employer description:Natural Products Factory is company that specialises in the development and manufacture of organic skincare both under its own brand Nourish London and white label for bespoke contract development.We are vertically integrated and create product and markets them under our own website: https://We operate with a open and inclusive culture and offer an exciting opportunity explore the cosmetics industry as a career path.Overview:We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our small team and assist the Product/Marketing Manager to ensure products are launched, marketed and promoted in an appropriate and timely manner within brand guidelines.Duties: [will include, but not be limited to:] Planning and creating and delivering social media content on all social media platforms, including:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • TikTok
You will also be assisting in:
  • The delivery of the marketing campaigns
  • Conducting research and analysing data to monitor product and social media performance
  • Developing assets to support product promotions
  • Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information
  • Writing and proofreading creative copy
  • Monitoring of competitor activity
  • PR activities and sending out of press samples
  • Monitoring and answering Facebook, Instagram and Twitter customer activity
  • Monitoring and answering customer complaints and queries
  • Communicating with product and marketing team, the production team and other departments
The Apprentice will report to our Product/Marketing Manager.As a company we work to Soil Association Organic Standards and IS0 22716 which require us to have defined procedures that are followed and documented.Adherence to Health and Safety Standards, following Standard Operating Procedures and attending production meetings and briefing is mandatory to the role.Desired skills: [cores skills can be developed, but experience with them will be beneficial]

Access to professional mentors in sales, marketing, product development, production and health and safety will available on site and access to some of our external teams such as SEO, web, Google ads and Facebook ads consultants allowing for a rich broadexperience of the cosmetics and skin care industry.For this role we are looking for a candidate who:
  • Has a can do attitude
  • Is eager to learn but can also work independently
  • Can demonstrable the ability to work in a team
  • Can communicate effectively and follow instructions -- which are key to the success of this role
An interest/awareness of skincare, organic, vegan and sustainable brands would also be beneficial but not compulsory.Experience in creating and delivering social media content would be preferable.Entry requirements:The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
