Job Description

The client are a manufacturer of high specification components and products to the Aerospace industry. They are enjoying continued success and have a vast global client base.They are seeking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to further strengthen their team.The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows;

  • Provide breakdown maintenance across the plant - ensuring any downtime on machines is kept to an absolute minimum.
  • To provide electrical maintenance to a wide range of machinery, both manual and automated, as well as CNC machinery.
  • Carry out electrical repairs to motors, control panels, wiring, relays, contacts, switches, bulbs.
  • PLC fault finding.
I would be keen to receive applications from engineers who hold the following skills/experience;
  • A multi-skilled maintenance engineer, with both electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • A background in the repair and service of CNC machinery.
  • Strong PLC knowledge and able to fault find.
  • Able to read and interpret technical/electrical drawings/schematics.
  • Able to work different shifts/hours.
