Job Description

Systems Integration Engineer - Off HighwayUp to £27/hr - Inside IR35Desford/Remote - Hybrid18 month initial contractAs an Engineer within the Compact Wheel Loader (CWL) team you will serve as an experienced, individual contributor on projects that are complex in nature and that support and enhance product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability.

  • Validation and Calibration of Electro Hydraulic Controls
  • Trouble shooting hydraulic, electric, powertrain or engine issues
  • Instrumentation set up, Machine Testing, Data capture and analysing machine performance via Vector CANape or other tools
  • Involving other engineers and technical resources to address detailed technical problems
  • Working with a global team that requires virtual collaboration
  • Working with design resources and suppliers to rapidly implement design changes
  • Operate Compact Wheel Loaders, varying control tuning parameters to impact machine behaviour
To apply for this position you should have some of the following:
  • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, linkage kinematics, and the machine/soil interaction to optimise compact wheel loader performance
  • Experience of working on Agricultural or Off Highway Equipment
  • Engineering Degree Qualification or HND with experience
  • Experience withOffice 365 and CANape
Additional information:
  • Mainly site based, some opportunity for hybrid working. Will be needed on site until fully trained, and will then be able to wfh 1-2 days per week. Flexible working hours
  • Would consider graduates for this role at a lower rate
