Job Description

Graduate Import/Export FacilitatorDesford12 Month Contract£13.60 PAYE rate/£18.26 Umbrella Rate Have you recently graduated and seeking an exciting opportunity to start off your career working for a Globally recognised companyAre you looking to learn new skills from one of the best teams in Supply ChainWe are seeking a graduate, who will be working within import and export department.This is a fantastic opportunity to start off your career working within a great team for a Global company.Your duties will include:

  • Working with a third-party customs provider to make sure the facility is HMRC compliant.
  • Making sure that products are imported/exported properly within compliance requirements
  • Dealing with internal stakeholders and the end client ensuring that all the documentation is correct
  • Maintaining high standards with managing shipments leaving the site
  • Dangerous goods analysis and shipment.
  • Responsibility for assisting with machine shipments
  • Being involved with projects within the import and export department
What we are looking from you:
  • Degree level of education
  • Eagerness to pursue career in logistics and supply chain
  • IT Literate (MS Products, Power BI desirable)
  • Ability work to own initiative and also a great Team player
Desirable
  • Basic knowledge of EU and UK Customs Legislation.
  • Understanding of import, export, shipping and inventory transactions.
