Job Description

About you:The ideal candidate will be fully CeMAP qualifiedTo be successful you will also need:
  • Recent, relevant experience in a financial services background (we can only consider candidates with this background)
  • Commitment to achieving a successful career in mortgage advice
  • A business plan outlining lead generation
  • Cash reserves to see you through the first 6 month
  • Cashflow forecast for the first year
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • The ability to build meaningful working relationships at all levels
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective solutions.
  • No criminal convictions, CCJs or adverse credit including IVA and DMPs
The Mentor to CAS program costs £3600incVAT and covers the cost of your initial training and assessment and the one-to-one mentoring from your mentor until you achieve your Competent Adviser Status over a 6-month period. You will be working as a self-employedmortgage and protection adviser in Tenet Financial Services with a 2-year service agreement and by the end of it have the confidence and ability to set up your own firm.1. Adviser Pay awayYour pay away % is based on your annual turnover. For the first 12 months it will be based on your projected turnover in your submitted business plan. Turnover is then reviewed every 6 months for the previous 12 months and altered accordingly.£100,000+ = 17.2%£80-99,000 = 22.2%£60-79,000 = 27.2%Less £60,000 = 32.2%Example Commercials Summary: Based on M&P Adviser on £100kAll in Pay away = £24106 per annum to TFS%24.11 pay per annum to TFS£75894 pay to adviser%75.89 pay to adviser2. PI insurance and FCA feesFCA and PII are a weekly charge. As a new adviser you would pay pro-rota the min charge until 30 September. For a Mortgage & Protection Adviser: Min charge £2,948.40 / 52 = £56.70 per week for PII and FCA.From 1 October PII is charged at 1.33% of turnover. FCA is charged at approx. 2% dependent on the FCA bill received. Both subject to the min charge of £2,948.403. Technologyhardware and softwareUpon authorisation you will be provided with all the hardware and software required. You will be supported by an IT Support team with an allowance of support time and provision per year, including a 1 hour set up call on receipt of your equipment. Includes4 year warranty on all hardware, annual licenses for the duration of your contract and finally benefit from any Tenet wide hardware and software enhancements. All systems are secure and monitored to give you added peace of mind.£200 per month
