Job Description

Learning Support Assistant | Derbyshire, Ilkeston, DE7 | £95 - £105 per day | Start Date - Asap/September 2024 Are you passionate about education and keen on making a positive impact on the lives of young learners Are you looking for a new rewarding role ASAP or for the new academic year in September Our partner secondary school are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their vibrant secondary school. The school have positions for both May 2024 and September 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiasticabout supporting students in their academic and personal growth.The Role:

  • Support students with additional needs, tailoring teaching methods to meet diverse needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to effectively support students
  • Monitor student progress, supporting them to reach targets
  • Demonstrate effective behaviour management skills
  • Support with creating a positive and inclusive environment for all students
The Ideal Candidate will have:
  • A Relevant qualification or degree (desirable)
  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
  • A commitment to contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • An enhanced DBS and two references are a requirement for this role
