Job Description

Career Teachers are looking to appoint an Education Recruitment Consultant to join the team in Derby, where you will be working with schools across Derby and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruiter orsales orientated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join one of the market leaders in education recruitment, recruiting high-quality teaching and support staff for short and long-term placements aswell as permanent roles.The role:Career Teachers is a trusted education recruitment consultancy with over 25 years experience supplying high-quality temporary and permanent teaching and support staff for Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across England.Heres some of the responsibilities as an Education Recruitment Consultant in Derby ;

  • Building relationships with clients and candidates
  • Using sales, business development and marketing techniques
  • Making outbound marketing and sales calls
  • Visiting clients to build and develop close working relationships so youll need to drive and have access to a car
  • Developing a good understanding of client schools.
  • Advertising vacancies by placing adverts on a variety of job boards
  • Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates, employers, and the teaching community
  • Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates
  • Using candidate databases to match on jobs and manage bookings
  • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews, and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
