What youll be doing: You will work as part of a team that is transforming ideas and concepts into customer solutions. You will be responsible for providing test leadership and contribute to rapid development (iterative and incremental) of applications as part of these solutions,ideally, you will be fully conversant in data intensive application development and understand how to apply your skills to responsive and smart applications.

• Lead the testing activities conducted by the in-house and supply chain teams, managing all phases of testing, including plans, timescales, test deliverables, auditability and guidance across all aspects of planning and execution as necessary.
• Develop, execute, and report on complex test plans from requirement specifications and refined product backlog items, in accordance with agreed standards and and modifying manual and automated tests as required.
• Work closely with the Delivery Manager, Product Owner, technical SMEs and development teams to review and refine software requirements (functional and non-functional) to ensure the right solutions are developed to the highest quality
• Ensure that any risks associated with the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the customers and colleagues, working closely with the teams to resolve any testing issues
• Collaborate with other Test Leads to share knowledge and contribute to corporate testing standards and definition of best practice including automation.

• Comfortable working within all aspects of web and data application development with respect to server side and front-end applications
• An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems
• High level of knowledge and experience in the field of test automation
• Knowledge and experience of best of breed test tooling, process and technologies specifically Azure Dev Ops, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Experience working on projects within the cloud, ideally Azure.
• Skilled communicator, able to engage with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
• Experience of working in an Agile and DevOps environment, within a self-organising team, providing technical leadership to software testing teams.
