We are on the hunt for Solution Architect, reporting into the Solution Architect Lead.Civil Aerospace are embarking on an ambitious journey to create a data ready platform supporting the many analytics use cases requiring it. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the technology and architecture to support the data science and advancedanalytical requirements, and to deliver the capability to support business drivers for such a platform. What youll be doing: As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for owning solution designs and content being delivered into the platform. You will drive our solution architecture and will have knowledge of Microsoft products and services, such as Azure and the Power Platform,Informatica tools data management and integration as well as additional expertise in AI and machine learning.

• To provide extensive hands-on architecture and technical leadership to support data platform design, delivery and use case realisation, in line with IT architectural standards, reference architectures and enterprise road maps.
• To own the analytics architecture design for the Civil business, enabling exploitation of data assets for BI/Analytics, data science & advanced analytics across the organisation.
• To converse directly or facilitate engagements with business and technical communities to better understand business drivers for content development.
• To identify where source data exists for advanced analytics and work closely with source system SMEs to extract data from source systems as well as to support but not take responsibility for data management capabilities including data quality, businessdefinition capture and data classification.

• Architecture experience enabling the creation of smart designs balancing speed of delivery, scalability and standardisation.
• Technical leadership in complex technical and/or professional work activities, including the analysis of designs, delivery options and plans.
• Good business understanding of performance management including management information and key performance indicators. Able to translate this business knowledge into working solutions.
• Experience of building and mentoring technical teams to deliver solutions enabling rapid high value business outcomes.
• Strong experience working with Microsoft products and services, such as Azure and the Power Platform, Azure Devops and data management and integration tools.
• Strong experience of working within a multi-vendor IT ecosystem environment & a good understanding of the Data Science Workflow and MLOps practices.
