MUST HAVE 3 YEARS UK EXPERIENCEPosition: Senior Structural Engineer (Location: Derby) Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum + Profit share + Relocation fee + AXA Healthcare + Free parkingWe are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Derby. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing detailed technical input and ensuring the quality of work output on projects requiring StructuralEngineering Design. Key responsibilities and accountabilities associated with this role include:Providing detailed technical input and ensuring the quality of work output on projects requiring Structural Engineering Design. Managing projects autonomously, ensuring adherence to specified budgets and timelines. Liaising with clients to agree on projectspecifications, timescales, fees, and engagement terms for each appointment. Ensuring that projects are undertaken within the specified budget and accurately recording all project-related fees and disbursements for expedient recovery. Preparing comprehensivereports as necessary.Candidates should ideally meet the majority of the following criteria:Expertise in a range of technical skills covering the broad scope of structural engineering appointments. Commitment to producing high-quality work and promoting the reputation of the company. Recent experience in detailed design for a variety of structuralprojects. Ability to manage time effectively and work to strict deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written English communication skills. Capability to supervise the work of more junior staff and sub-consultants. Proficiency in preparing fee proposalsand project managing a commission from start to finish. Ability to liaise directly with clients and other consultants/suppliers. Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to lead project-related discussions and utilize experience from other projects. Commitmentto continuous professional development. Possession of, or actively working towards, Chartership of the Institution of Structural Engineers as part of career progression.
