Job Description Quality ManagerDerby/Bristol/HybridFull timeWhy Rolls-RoyceAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join our growing team in Derby or Bristol. Reporting into the Rolls-Royce Electrical Head of Quality, you will provide subject matter expertise in Quality and execute Quality tasks and activities.You will lead the overall quality management of R&D programs led by Rolls-Royce Electrical in the UK (RRE-UK) and interact with various Rolls-Royce businesses. You will be part of the team working on novel engineering concepts and developing strategies to introducenew technologies into the Rolls-Royce portfolio of products and services. Your contributions will include quality expertise and leadership for end-to-end product development to manufacturing of products and roll out of services to our customers (internal &external).Rolls-Royce Electrical (RRE) is part of Rolls-Royce Holdings plc having a global footprint that supports all our traditional operating sectors of Civil Aerospace, Defence, and Power Systems.   • Responsible for Quality in the RRE UK team and the projects led by RRE UK against the Quality business plan for RRE.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to deliver performance and results in the RRE Quality function.
  • Provide technical direction to ensure the robust and timely resolution of problems.
  • Provide technical leadership, expertise, and facilitation, including advanced analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.
  • Drive all QM activities: Quality planning, in particular the application of methods for error prevention and the controlling of the timely execution and content quality of milestone meetings.

  • Strong working knowledge of Quality executive systems.
  • Specialist with depth and/or breadth of knowledge in Quality Improvement or programme management.
  • Applies management and subject matter expertise and knowledge to set direction and resolve problems.
