PSV Mechanic Loughborough Permanent £21 to £23 per hour The client Our client is a leading bus company in the Midlands, known for providing high-quality buses and employing the friendliest drivers. Job Summary: As the successful PSV Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients buses, encompassing diagnostics, repairs, and servicing.Join a team dedicated to upholding the highest standards in the industry and contributing to the exceptional quality, safety, and innovation that define our clients commitment to their customers. Responsibilities for the PSV Mechanic: - Conduct safety checksand follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. - Participate in equipment installations and upgrades as needed. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. - Carrying out maintenance and repairs onall bus vehicles. - Ensure that all vehicles worked on are handled carefully and that precautions are taken whilst in the workshop and/or customer premises. - Diagnose and rectify faults. - Plan and prioritise & execute the maintenance workload for site engineeringpersonnel. - Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards. The right PSV Mechanic: - NVQ level 2/3 heavy vehicle maintenance - Proven experience in a maintenance role working on heavy vehicle systems. - Relevant technical qualificationsin mechanical engineering or a related field. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - To be an efficient, neat, and disciplined commercial vehicle technician - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Dedication to workplace safetyand adherence to safety guidelines.
