Job Description

Mechanical Design EngineerProven mechanical design and development engineer required with experience working on complex electro-mechanical systems. You should also have experience with the following:

  • Solidworks
  • Concept modelling and design verification
  • Setting and analysing design criteria for production costing, planning and testing.
  • Producing assembly drawings and handbooks.
  • Operating in an agile environment where changes in direction are commonplace.
    • The role involves you to be customer facing and also to work effectively with all internal departments ( e.g. Manufacturing, Quality, Sales), suppliers and sub-contractors throughout the whole product life-cycleYou should have a formal qualification on Mechanical engineering, an appreciation of precision engineering and a desire to learn more. You must have current right to work in the UK for the role. Any experience of Thermodynamics would an advantage.This is a permanent role. HRGO Recruitment are a recruitment agency.
