Job Description

Joiner - DerbyTo undertake Joinery repairs, maintenance, renovations and installations; other skilled maintenance operations and to support other trade staff in the effective completion of repairs, maintenance and other building operations to property and buildings managedby the client.Full-Time (37 hours).£12.46 - £14.46Joiner - Roles and Responsibilities

  • To carry out new joinery related installations (1st and 2nd fix)
  • By using your own initiative, resolve were practical any minor or routine technical difficulties on site, liaising with your management as required.
  • Work within an appointment system including liaising with customers.
  • To submit all worksheets and documents relating to job (electronically or by paper) within the required timescales.
  • To effectively contribute to the provision of accurate records for time, SOR and materials to each work order, including the effective receipting of all material advice notes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Joiner in the construction or woodworking industry.
  • Proficient in using a variety of woodworking tools and machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and finishes.
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Education and Certification:
  • Relevant certification or vocational training in joinery or a related field.
