Job Description

**Work for a global manufacturer operating in more than 70 countries****HSE is at the heart of all decision making within the organisation**Client DetailsBased in Derby, working for a leading specialist manufacturing business that truly values its employees and offers exceptional training and progression. We are now looking to appoint a HSE AdvisorDescriptionWorking with the Health and Safety Manager the HSE Advisor will be key in assisting in all things Health Safety and Environmental.they will also:

  • Be responsible for ongoing development of and continuous improvement to ISO45001 and ISO14001 management systems. You will be part of a team collaborating across functions, from HSE, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Maintenance
  • Identify any H&S training requirements for employees. Devise, supervise, and coordinate training programs or media which will increase efficiency of safe practices and promote and reinforce HSE culture.
  • Development and analysis of HSE metrics for presenting to the senior management team.
  • Manage the processes for assessments to be arranged and completed in required timescales and tracking of any required actions to completion
Profile
  • Considerable knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001, with evidence of development and implementation of management systems and ongoing review
  • Previous experience in a similar HSE role in a manufacturing environment with good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation to improve health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Development of written procedures / standards.
  • Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to work, with the ability to work flexibly to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum and ideally a professional Environmental Qualification. (e.g., IEMA)
