Bank Support WorkerBrackensdale AvenueMackworth, Derby DE22 4AE£10.500 - 16 HoursDo you want to make a positive difference to people’s lives, enabling them to gain greater independence and improve their well-being If the answer is yes, then read on!Who we are.We are Ambient Support a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with mental health needs and people with learning disabilities.Our service in Derby is looking for a committed and empathetic Support Worker, to care for two service users, with complex learning disability needs. Our service encourages activities in and, round the community including, farm visits, swimming,shopping, and participating in day centres in the community.Public transport is limited in this area. The buses stop at 6pm and the trains do not run after 9pm and do not run on a Sunday. Therefore, you would need to have your own transport or a means to travel there for your shifts.The RoleWe are looking for Care Assistants to join our passionate and supportive team. With your help we can make a positive difference, enabling greater independence, improved wellbeing and more importantly a friendly face offering reliability and support. Ourresidents require support with household duties, money management, cooking and personal care. This role is varied so no two days will be the same!About youYou don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications, all you need for this rewarding role is the will to make an impact treating our residents with compassion and dignity - we are happy to work with you to help you becomean excellent care assistant.The benefits for you
