Circa £30,000 - £35,000 basic + bonusThis is a brand new branch in a great location for a company that is very well established.Our client is a very well-respected supplier of construction materials predominantly into the trade sector. Paintwell is the client. The Uks largest trade paint merchant / distributor and due to continued expansion, they are recruiting a Branch Managerto oversee the operations of a brand new site within the Derby area. Paintwell have recently acquired Kent Blaxhill and this brand-new site in Derby is part of a huge branch opening project. A fantastic opportunity within a growing business. We arent looking for someone who will just wait for customers to come in. This role therefore requires a mix of sales and operational management skills. Itshould be noted that finding the right kind of person for this role is key. If youre an ambitious Assistant Branch Manager with the right attitude, then you will certainly be considered. However, some sales and management experience is crucial. Specific productknowledge can be taught, the right person for this role will already have the skills we have mentioned above.The company has an ambitious but well controlled expansion plan, successfully started last year. Derby is the latest addition to their branch network, hence this position arising. Finding the right people at this stage is very important but the rewards arecertainly there, future progression is a genuinely realistic prospect.
