Manufacturing Warehouse Operative£21,000DenhamFull timePerks: Non-Contributory Pension, Lunch-Time finish on a Friday and Health Care Reimbursement SchemeWe have partnered with a family run business who are now a world leading company that design and manufacture ejection and crashworthy seats and have been doing so for more than 70 years.This role is suitable for anyone with previous experience of preparing, packing and labelling products and components within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:

Primary and final packing of parts, components, and products in accordance with the customer and technical requirements.
Validating batch numbers, part descriptions and amount against the SAP system and flagging discrepancies to Supervision.
Ensure that all goods are packed with the appropriate materials according to the instructions.
Ensuring that delivery instructions are correct and identify the package to be shipped.
Liaison with the Logistics team to ensure that goods are ready for dispatch.
To undertake due care and attention, as well as quality check of work undertaken.
To accurately pick, pack and issue materials, goods and stock from Detail and Raw Material Stores areas in accordance with requirements.
To take receipt of all materials, goods and stock from the main factory and external sources into the Detail Stores.
Internal transportation - movement of goods throughout the factory.
Undertaking duties within Raw Material Stores including - Saw operation - cutting to size and delivery of raw material to the machine shop.

Requirements:

1 - 2 years in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Basic Health & Safety understanding
Full UK Driving licence (desirable)
Forklift truck / Manitou licence (desirable)
