Your key focus will be on the development, deployment, and execution of strategic plans andbusiness objectives in alignment with corporate safety guidelines. This includes overseeing manufacturing processes, product, and process engineering, ensuring high-quality standards, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency while adhering to local practicesand constraints.SC Johnson Professional dispensing systems for our soap products are manufactured at our facility in the village of Little Eaton, and our European headquarters and manufacturing facility is in Denby. You will also benefit from a collaborative environmentwith our third-party logistics and warehousing operations being part of the same building in Denby.The key responsibilities of our Plant Manager will include:
  • Managing the plants financial performance in line with agreed-upon revenue and expense levels.
  • Driving new process and product development, monitoring headcounts, and overseeing capital allocation.
  • Overseeing the facilitys cost management, methods, delivery, productivity, and the quality and quantity of assembly operations and personnel
  • Developing meaningful and strategic performance metrics and tools that facilitate the interpretation of results
  • Evaluating, validating, and recommending staffing requirements to ensure high-quality and flexible operations while minimizing costs
Previous experience / knowledge required of our Production Operative:
  • Previous involvement in the operations of a large liquids processing and filling company, ideally within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector
  • Extensive background as a seasoned production manager with a formal education in engineering
  • Demonstrated operational expertise in leading a large, diverse production and engineering team within a fast-paced environment
