Here at SC Johnson Professional we have an opportunity for a Contractor BREXIT UK REACH - Biocide & Cosmetics to join our team based in Denby. You will join us on a full time, fixed term contract until June 25th 2021,with potential to extend,in return for a competitive salary.Ideal Start date would be the 4th January 2021SC Johnson Professionalis a leading manufacturer of Industrial and commercial cleaning and skin care products. Our purpose is to invent new products and solutions that create efficiencies, reduce inventories, simplify training, and create a positive cleaning experience for users of our products and the spaces in which our products are used.SCJ GSARA are looking to hire a Contractor BREXIT UK REACH - Biocide & Cosmetics to assist SCJ consumer & professional businesses prepare for chemical regulations post Brexit (including UK Reach, Biocidal products and cosmetics).Key responsibilities of our Contractor BREXIT UK REACH - Biocide & Cosmetics:- Working with other functions to catalogue potentially impacted portfolio.- Communication with suppliers to determine their status and intentions regarding UK chemical regulations.- Create and analyse reports and spreadsheets.- Preparing and submitting UK chemical regulations notifications/registrations- Working with business partners (internal and external) to propose solutions to potential issues.- Ensure that all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to at all times.- Active involvement in Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives, including identifying hazards and near misses, participation in audits and behavioural safety initiatives, and proactive actions to support our world class safety standards.What we’re looking for in our Contractor BREXIT UK REACH - Biocide & Cosmetics:- Good Chemical knowledge- Experience of working on REACH registrations would be fantastic- Science Degree- Ability to step up to address challenging issues and take action when it’s called for- Actively seeks opportunities to be challenged and learn new skills- Ability to operate effectively, even when things are uncertain, unsettled, or the way forward is not clear- Ability to earn the trust and confidence of others through honesty, integrity, and transparency- Ability to build productive relationships with a wide variety of people regardless of position or background- Ability to prioritise activities and focus time and energy on those assignments that are critical to achieving SC Johnson’s goals- Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances- Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep SC Johnson moving forward in the right direction- Ability to communicate a compelling story of the vision and strategy that inspires others to actionWhat we can offer our Contractor BREXIT UK REACH - Biocide & Cosmetics: - Large and expanding fast paced global business- Committed to implementing best practice in all areas- Focus on innovation and continuous improvement- Competitive salary and Benefits, plus a Production Incentive Scheme paid from the start- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) rising to 36 days with length of service- Contributory pension schemeIf you feel you have what it takes to become our Contractor BREXIT UK REACH - Biocide & Cosmetics, then please click ‘apply’ now!
