You will join us on a full time, permanent basisin return for a highly competitive salary.SC Johnson Professionalis a leading manufacturer of Industrial and commercial cleaning and skin care products. Our purpose is to invent new products and solutions that create efficiencies, reduce inventories, simplify training, and create a positive cleaning experience for users of our products and the spaces in which our products are used.The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving new business objectives by selling SCJP solutions, driving compliance, and delivering innovative solutions to strategic end user customers in our target markets. The BSM is responsible for developing effective market analysis and executing business plans in order to drive these growth objectives.They should be capable of coordinating the execution of those objectives and work plans through DSM’s, ASM’s KAM’s, marketing teams, and other key internal SCJP functions such as Customer Service and logistics. Effective communication throughout the organisation is a key focus.Key responsibilities of our Business Development Manager:- Deliver new business wins using the key principles of the SMBP process against a set annual target- Manage an active opportunity pipeline of identified end users and progress with our lead category products and services- Drive product compliance in the targeted end user accounts- Have monthly reviews with the National Sales Manager – Business Development and the Commercial Marketing Team- Have a comprehensive knowledge of the SC Johnson Professional focus sectors Commercial Market sub sectors and key competitor’s strengths and weaknesses in these sectors- Actively engage with the Regional Sales Team working with ASM’s, DSM and TAM’s to ensure objectives are achieved- Partner with the Key Account Managers to align end user plans with distributor plans and ensure that all key stakeholders are communicated to on a regular basis- Provide a written monthly report detailing successes, challenges, opportunities and any support needed to achieve the set KPI’s- Have weekly structured communication with SC Johnson Professional Marketing Team to feedback on collateral, competitor activity and nurturing campaignsWhat we’re looking for in our Business Development Manager:- Proven track record of development and delivery of targeted innovative and creative sales plans that deliver growth through new business- Serious about communication - Ability to build positive matrix relationships internally and externally- Good literacy- Good written and spoken English- Good numerical ability- Good level of IT capability including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointWhat we can offer our Business Development Manager: - Large and expanding fast paced global business- Committed to implementing best practice in all areas- Focus on innovation and continuous improvement- Competitive salary and Benefits, plus a Production Incentive Scheme paid from the start- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) rising to 36 days with length of service- Contributory pension schemeIf you feel you have what it takes to become our Business Development Manager, then please click ‘apply’ now!
