Job Description

Medical WriterSRG are currently seeking a Medical Writer for a new temporary assignment with a leading global Medical Devices company. The contract will run to the end of the year and the position is predominantly remote. This role will centre aroundtheir endocrinology, gastroenterology and wound care products.The purpose of this position is to support the Clinical and Medical Affairs function where the successful applicant will be primarily responsible for providing medical writing support across all business units, and for the preparation and updating of clinicaldocumentation.Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update Clinical Evaluation Plans Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs) and Summary of Safety and Clinical Performance (SSCP) documentation for inclusion in device technical documentation, in accordance with the relevant Medical Device Regulationand internal SOPs
  • Help with protocols / surveys for PMCFs and support preparation of study reports and the clinical submission documents with the Clinical Operations group
  • Undertaking systematic literature reviews, following industry accepted guidance and systematic review methodology, including development of targeted search terms utilising the PICO framework
  • Providing an overall analysis of all available clinical evidence for presentation to the Clinical Evaluator
  • Supporting medical communication activities by assisting in the development of manuscripts, conference abstracts, posters and presentations, as required
Qualifications/Preferred Experience
  • BSc or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Advanced training within a medical/scientific area, ideally within wound care, (gastroenterology), continence care (urology) endocrinology (diabetes care) or equivalent experience
  • . Knowledge of medical device industry strongly preferred
  • Proven record of Medical writing experience
  • Good understanding of industry work processes for publications
  • Good working knowledge of Embase, PubMed and RightFind preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and oral English
