Search Consultancy are recruiting Line Loaders/Warehouse workers for our client in Livingston!This is an immediate start position! 6am-3pm shifts Rota TBC Potential Temp to Perm contract with our client Weekly pay!Increased pay rate once undergone Pallet Truck Training or 12 weeks service - whichever comes first.More details below - PPT/WAREHOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES:* Collect and return scanner and knife from Warehouse.* Inspect MHE allocated to department before operating, reporting any faults or damage.* Ensure that all products are being checked and packed properly to Customer Specification. * Fill in relevant paperwork.* Ensure that the correct fruit is scanned onto the correct works order.* Ensure pallets are labelled correctly and ready for dispatch.* Move fruit from PPT to Dispatch area using Pallet Truck* Check the correct count is scanned back onto the pallet of fruit at the end of the order.* Assist with any job that they are competent in carrying out, including end of day cleaning.LINE LOADING DUTIES:* Collect and return safety knife from Operations office.* Inspect MHE allocated to department before operating, reporting any faults or damage.* Ensure that the line is prepared with fruit for the start of the shift.* Ensure that empty boxes are supplied and taken away from the Production lines.* Ensure that pallets of fruit are broken down to a height which correspond with Health and Safety Regulations and are placed within easy reach of packing stations as far as practicable. * Ensuring all boxes are sealed. * Ensuring all fruit is scanned into and out of the Production Line.* Assist with any job that they are competent in carrying out.KEY SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:* Excellent attention to detail* Ability to organise self and others* Flexible* Excellent communication skills * Ability to concentrate in busy working environmentOTHER INFORMATION* Full training will be given.* Pallet Truck experience would be preferable, but training will be given.* Safety boots must be worn at all times.* Ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 22kg at times). * Some degree of flexibility will be required in terms of shifts and hours of work, in order to meet the demands of the business.If youre interested in this position, please APPLY NOW!
