Job Description

This is an amazing opportunity to work as a Compensation and Benefits Manager (with payroll) within a well known, fast moving Fashion Brand. The company are moving to a new integrated HR and Payroll system, and it is an exciting opportunity to lead theteam.This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract and will involve flying to Scotland (1 / 2 days a week) - the rest will be WFH.The role will involve overseeing and managing end to end payroll processing for all employees within UK, CHI & ROI (4000+). Support the Comp & Bens team in their processing tasks/activities and ensure the highest standard are met when paying employees throughoutthe business.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPAYROLL• Responsible and accountable for the overall processing of 3 separate end-to-end payrolls within UK, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland. Ensuring the team are fully utilising our payroll checklists, payroll training guides and company policies to ensurewe pay our employees accurately and on time.• Ensure a strict adherence to all payroll related regulations, tax laws and company policies.• Stay up to date with evolving legislation and statutory changes.• Review and resolve any issues, disputes, discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.SYSTEM• Maintain and enhance data accuracy within the system and verify and reconcile all payroll related information.• Generate and distribute payroll reports and documentation to relevant parties.• Lead the implementation of the new system.• Continuously monitor and evaluate payroll processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.TEAM• Support team progress and provide feedback for professional growth.• Actively identify areas for improvement within the team and encourage learning and development opportunities.BENEFITS• Manage and administer employee benefits (Pension, Wagestream, car salary sacrifice scheme) ensuring compliance and accuracy.• Work with the People team to review new benefits and reward initiatives and drive engagement with the current offering.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE• Deep understanding of industry knowledge – across payroll, compensation and benefits (ideally within Retail, Fashion or multi location)• Ideally experience in implementing new systems• Knowledge of 4000+payroll processing• Problem solving in order to think creatively and find solutions• Empathy and people skills to build strong working relationships• Financial management and basic knowledge of legislation relevant to role• People analytics – analyse data to make informed decisions• Leadership, coaching and people development capabilitiesThe company offer an excellent salary / benefit package with a hybrid working environment,
