Job Description

NOW Careers are exclusively recruiting on behalf of an extremely successful SME company in the Llanelli area, who is seeking to find an experienced Personal Assistant/ Secretary to join its business.The PA will work alongside 3 Senior Managers and will provide administrative support and secretarial tasks. My client is happy to consider applications from both full-time and part-time applicants. They are however, looking for the successful candidate to work 5 days a week and could accommodate school-hours. The role is being offered initially on a 4 week temporary basis with a view to turning permanent for the successful candidate.My client is looking to pay £10.00 - £12.30 per hour + holiday payThe main duties of the role will include -

  • Answering and screening calls
  • Handling telephone and e-mail enquiries
  • Reading, monitoring and responding to e-mails
  • Organising the relevant Manager calendar, meetings and appointments
  • Assisting the SMT in the collation of information required for tenders
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, PowerPoint presentations and correspondence
  • Organising and maintaining office systems
  • Minute taking during meetings
  • Handling company mail and sensitive information discreetly
  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of the relevant Manager
  • Organising travel and arranging transport
  • Strong Excel skills are essential for this role
  • The role will suit an experienced PA/Secretary, who possesses strong organisational and time management skills. You will be a strong communicator, who is able to liaise with internal staff and external bodies, with an ability to articulate in a professional manner. The successful candidate will have good attention to detail and will be a strong user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will have the ability to remain calm in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a flexible approach to work.The hours of work are below -Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5pm with an hour for lunch and/or school hoursA car driver is essential for the role due to location Required skills
