Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) and Unscheduled Care PractitionerAn opportunity for a full time Band 6 post has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced Mental Health Practitioner within Carmarthenshire .The CRHTT Service provides intensive support for people experiencing mental health related crisis and offers alternatives to in-patient care. The CRHTT works collaboratively with other mental health service providers and is committed to providing care for service users and their families / carers within the least restrictive environment and will also form part of the developing unscheduled care system.Interested individuals will be expected to be enthusiastic, have a flexible approach to work and be committed to the working ethos of the CRHTT model.The Team operates a shift system covering 24 hours 7 days per week. You will also be required to work as part of the unscheduled care provision that provides mental health assessments for adults of all ages. The team is currently co-located with the Community Mental Health team in Llanelli.Applicants will need significant experience of working in an acute adult mental health setting and will require a sound knowledge of current issues pertaining to mental health, crisis intervention and home treatment.Comprehensive Assessment, Risk Assessment and Management skills within the context of CTP are essential, as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
