We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our passionate and experienced paediatric team based in Morriston Hospital. You should already have some knowledge and experience of working within paediatrics but you will have the opportunity to gain experience and develop skills within the paediatric speciality. Primarily you will manage a specialist clinical caseload in particular Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy delivering individual consultations and facilitating group education. You will also have the opportunity to support the provision of dietetic care for a variety of conditions including multiple allergies, faltering growth and selective eating. The role will allow you to undertake quality improvement projects within the service.You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This a permanent, full time post based in Morriston Hospital but providing a service across the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot Localities.You will be expected to supervise and mentor the band 5 paediatric dietitian, student dietitians and dietetic support workers.We offer both departmental and personal CPD time to support your development and are committed to the development of evidenced based practice, research and clinical audit. You will be supported in attending relevant professional networking meetings, interest groups and relevant CPD opportunities.We are approved for 1, 2 and 3 student placements. We have good support from administrative and Dietetic Assistants.
